Guys - Jody, Brent and I have been talking and decided it's time to get the ball rolling on SEMA. We're trying to decide where we're going to stay, and we'd prefer to stay on the strip.

As for myself, I'm planning on flying in on Tuesday, November 1st and flying home Saturday late morning/early afternoon.

Let's get this started and make some decisions this month.

Hey, I'm easy Scott. Are you still looking at getting a discounted rate on a block of rooms?

My local union sent a few others and I down to Vegas a couple of years ago. We ended up staying at the Flamingo, it wasn't bad and had reasonable rates as I remember.

Bill does this mean you are going this year?? Man I cant get you to go to Oregon, but LV isn't a problem? J/K LOL :)

Right now we are planning on going...this will be our 3rd year in a row!!!

Hey Scott, you seem to know a lot of the right people, is there any way we can get a list of what and where the more popular builders entries are? For the past couple of years I feel I made my rounds pretty well, to find out later in the TV year that I missed all kinds of neet stuff...usually it's on 'Rides' that I see what I missed out on seeing!!

I'll be there every single day this year (just like last) but with a hitch. We're making our Chevelle's first public appearance (other than testing) in the 20'x 20' RE Audio booth...so you'll guys will get to see it in person. I'm terrified...

Last year I weenied out a bit, though. I usually made it to about 2Pm and my feet would be killing me so i'd have to pretty much take it easy for the rest of the day. Also, I showed up to the P-T dinner an hour late because I'm retarded (got the time wrong) and was downstairs gambling and drinking. I didn't miss dessert, though ;)

Scott & I have been talking this past week & have decided that Treasure Island is where we are going to stay. I'm booking mine through www.vegas.com I have found this site to have the best deals. For me airfare (out of Sacramento,Ca) & Hotel is is $455.00 per person when you book 2 people in a room. The earlier you book the cheaper it will be!! Last year we waited a little to long & paid the price.

My girlfriend hosted an event at the Palace Station Hotel/Casino this year and reserved a block of 40 rooms and booked them all as well as one of their ballrooms so she has great rapport with the hosts over there. I know a few of you want to be right off the strip but the Palace Station is literally on the other side of the freeway off Sahara (just 1 mile down from NASCAR cafe).
So if anyone here wants a decent place for a good price, I'm sure we could arrange it since we live out here. I think we got quoted $49 a room(courtyard) when we had the block reserved for her event. Anyone interested?

All you guys staying at Treasure Island need to go see Mystere.Circue Du Solei... I can't describe is accurately but it is absolutely awsome. It is expensive but well worth it. I like it alot better than "O" at Bellagio.

I went to the official SEMA site to check it out. The hotellisting they have was interesting, most places are already fully booked that week.

What place do you recommend? I mean it must be on guttercrawling distance from the party. Or preferable at the same place. On the other hand there is always some kind of transportation to use.

I have preliminary plans to fly in on Saturday and stay for one week. Can't miss out on seeing you all.

Hmmm, I now under stand why everybody stays there. I went to their site (http://www.treasureisland.com/pages/index_flash.asp) and found some interesting opportunities. "Burlesque performances" is that you in your thong? LOL

I couldn't find any free reservations, it looks like its fully booked already. I'll try to find something close to it.

I went to one of the Las Vegas Hotel booking services and they had rooms at the Treasure Island. So we (me and my woman) will be at the same hotel as most of you guys. Lookling forward to see ya all.

I'll arrive to Las Vegas on Monday Oct 31 and stay to Friday.

After that we will go to San Fransisco/Sacramento for about a week, trying to find someplace were we can go horseback riding.

Awesome Jan. By the way, I live near San Francisco. There's some stables in a town called Woodside that you may want to look into. Also, there's some places near Half Moon Bay that may rent Horses. You can ride them by the coast, I think. And the weather should be pretty nice here. I hope you enjoy the trip!!

Hey guys,

Well, it's official. We were able to get a booth at the SEMA show, I will list the booth number here in a day or two when I get the final confirmation, but it is right in the same area as Marquez Design, ATS, and a few other known entities. We won't be able to get a car there, there is a chance Lateral II will be ready as a mock-up showing our initial products, but more than likely it won't. We are pretty excited, and I am a bit nervous. Anyway, you guys NEED to come over and say hello, it'll make it look someone is actually interested in what we are doing!

Coming up quick, to say the least!
