The DSE X-Gen has the motor sitting way back in the Javelin. The intake manifold still needs to move back about two more inches than you see in the picture, so I'm in need of a solution for a different wiper motor, because the area where the stock one mounts is going to have to get cut out. When the new firewall gets built, we could potentially move the wiper motor to the right or left. Does anyone make a generic wiper motor that I could make work for this?

I used a 2002 Deville wiper motor and transmission in my Camaro. Thats what DSE originally used and its easy to wire using a GM wiper switch. I modified the arm lengths to fit my needs and it runs nice and quiet and can be mounted anywhere.

Yes, would love to see some pics of how you did it.

No it does not.

As for how I did it. First thing I did was to knock out the stock connecting balls on both wiper transmissions then weld the new ones into the Camaro wiper mounts. You can tell in the picture that they are a little bigger than stock and snap into plastic cups on the Deville transmission, which is why it runs so smooth and quiet. The connecting link was easy to shorten to the same length as the stock Camaro one. After getting the wiper motor mounted where I wanted I was able to modify the short arm to mount up to the wiper motor. Sorry, I did this 7 years ago according to my facebook post so I don't have any more or better pictures of anything.

Mike

Just using a GM washer pump from a late model vehicle built into a reservoir which I haven't designed or built yet. The pump is easy though, its just held in with a grommet and a clamp so it could be put into basically anything.
