Any 1st gen. Camaro owners out there that can share where you mounted your Dakota Digital cruise module?
I bought a CRS-3000 system a couple years ago, but never installed it. As I have a long cruise coming up in a few months, I am now thinking I'll wish I had it if I don't. The problem is where to locate the module.
I can't fit it under the dash as it is plumb full of other stuff, and I don't want to clutter up the engine bay.

I was thinking of mounting it between the driver side inner & outer fender, but my guy at DD says I need to have access to the module for dialing it in after installation, and where I was planning will not allow for that.
I am stumped, and am hoping someone can give me a new idea.

Glove box is about 1.5” deep and is right up against the a/c unit.
But thanks for the idea!

Your module must be bigger than i'm thinking it is. This is how I did a couple of my boxes

The module is 5-1/2" x 4" x 3-1/2". I don't have enough depth in the glove box.

I am going to mount it between the inner & outer fender, then cut a small (about 2" x 1") access hole for dial-in & diagnostics. Then make a cover for the access hole. A little silicone & a couple screws and I should be good.

Thanks for your idea though.
