This is my first poll. So it may be a little screwy. If any of you have seen my Camaro thread with my 12th scale model. You know I've been waiting on my wheels. I finally got a test peice. It is fully machined, center and all. I need help choosing which wheels, the fully machined piece, or the Machined outter ring with the Resin center. Be honest and help me out!!

Machined with Resin center (it is not painted in the first pic, and painted black when mocked up with the car)

Fully machined, brushed finish (or satin polished, u decide), black centers = wheel porn, trust me on this one.

Makes me happy to see you finally sorted out the wheel-issue:)

I've decided to go full machined. I was partial to the resin centers because they were my design. They wouldn't have been black though, more gunmetal. I am having him polish the centers with the machined outer ring. He is also going to try and machine some center caps. It will appear to be lugless. I am hoping to find someone who can custom make me some PE peices (PE is photoetch. They etch thin metal plate into shapes and designs). I would like some custom badges, as well as maybe something to to in the centercaps.

Thanks for the help everyone. If any of you are curious as to what this is for check out the links in my sig. I'll be updating it shortly with pictures of my 6 piston baer brake calipers for the front.

Freddy, makes me happy too. This is a big milestone for this build. Next up will be the tires.

Boy you take this hobby to a new level...nice work!!!!

I'm partial to pollished lips and satin black (anodized, not gloss) centers....yep, I guess I'm the 10% that doesn't think black wheels have been 'played out'.
