Wrestling with ecu mounting ..... found the only spot I can live with may be under the pass seat.

Has anyone done this ? Does it need to be recessed ? I think it might sit too high and need to b3 sunken in.

Any tips and in particular photos much appreciated

Sorry mounting not mountain

I struggled with the same thing on mine. Finally decided to mount the ECM on the back of the passenger side inner fender and mounted the engine fuse panel in the glove box. Worked out well and had plenty of harness to reach everything. I mounted the ECM on rubber isolators and the harness comes thru a 2 piece grommet where the heater blower motor used to be.
If I were to do it over again, I'd move it up a couple of inches as it's a little tight with the heater/AC hoses running to the bulkhead but it's all plumbed up and working.

Looks great , my receiver dryer is right there :flag2:

Gotcha, well it was worth a shot!!

Not a problem at all, it's a Gates hose from NAPA, pn: 9662. I had to trim just a bit off the end(s) but it was close to begin with. Good luck!
