I finally got my hands on a copy of the latest issue of Popular Hot Rodding and the XV Motorsports 70 Challenger made the cover with a seven page feature article on the car and what we are doing.

I’m really psyched how the article turned out and especially how impressed PHR was with what we’ve done.

Best part to me is the quote they highlighted from Johnny Hunkins:

“When Chrysler builds the new Challenger in 2008, they’d be well-served to look this car over carefully. The ride and handling on this is better than anything Chrysler’s doing now.”

I was pretty blown away when I first read that.

Well we really tried to take it to a different level. I’m really happy people are recognizing just how far we’ve pushed the envelope.

Hope you all get to check out the article!

Congrats, John. The cover and a great article.

It's definitely a good read and it really compliments the coverage XV got on Dream Car Garage.

I'm really glad you all are digging what we are doing!

The Mopars were definitely overdue for a serious dose of modern technology.

Streetking, if you want to add a Mopar worthy of the rest of your stable we've got you covered

Very nice article on a VERY nice car. But I prefer the cover of MOPAR magazine better. All four frickin' wheels in the air is awesome!!!!

The Mopar Action cover was definitely cool. We took Rick Ehrenberg up to the four post testing for B-Body Level I suspension and also track testing. He is the technical editor for MA and also has lots of road racing experience with these cars. He definitely likes what we are doing.

Here's the cover.

Gotta love any cover that's got all 4 wheels off the ground.

I wonder.. was it a real shot though.. You would be amazed what the photochop guys can do :)

Remember the HOT ROD Bullit shot with the cars in the air (driving through SF)? That was all faked..

Still a cool shot.. I just can't imagine you were jumping the Challenger around, not exactly good for the car.. ever see the Dukes of Hazard's outtakes?? lol
