Alright guys need some advice on wheel/tire setup. Truck is 1990 454SS that is mini tubbed with 4 link so I can run a pretty big tire in the back. Truck is toy/cruiser that I would like to AutoX.

Has 498CI bbc on E85 makes ~600-650rwhp
T56 trans, 3.73 gears with an eaton trutrac

Currently run
17x9 with Nitto nt450 275/50r17 in front

17x11.5 and Toyo Proxes tq 345/40r17 in rear

Wheels are STEEL cragar 397s that I had widened. They are ridiculously heavy.

I want to go to something lighter but it's hard to find something in the right BP without getting something custom which is out of my price range.

I found some wheels I like from ESR but the widest I could get is 18x10 or 19x10.5. Should I get something else to keep the wider tire or does someone make a tire that will work with my power/weight levels on a 10" wheel?

If anyone has any input on a similar looking wheel please let me know.

What is your honest wheel budget? If you shop around online, you could probably buy these in 17x11, for around $400/each. American can drill a 5x5 bolt pattern in them, for you.

A 10" or 10.5" width wheel is too narrow, for a 345 width tire. You probably need a 17x12 but those won't be inexpensive.

I want to stay around 350-500 per wheel. I'm really wanting to stay with a split 5 spoke or mesh 5 spoke wheel.

Your truck has a 5x5 bolt circle, right?

Yes. thats what makes it hard to find wheels

What backspacing are you running on those 17x11.5 wheels?

They were 5" when I bought them but I had them widened 2" to he inside.

I would really like to go to a 18 or 19 " wheel but I think i should really find a tire that will work first.

Needs to be 28" + tall and as wide as I can find, then just fine wheels to fit.

Might be difficult to find a bigger drag radial than a 345/40/17. You can get a wider tire, in a larger diameter, but it will not be a drag radial.

I'm ok with having a nice AutoX or roadracing tire if I can find one in the right size. Right now all I can find are slicks and drag radials.

Here's what you have, now.

Here's some other options.

If it were me, I'd probably keep what you already have. However, if you want to switch to the 355/30/19's, here's some decent priced wheels, IF they will build them with a 5x5 bolt pattern.
