We are thrilled to bring you the Retrotech, or RTX, Series! This product family combines the best of Dakota Digital with everything the OEM’s got right before us! Volumes of technology and engineering are at play behind the scenes; with hidden functionality and a very different On and Off look, it’s truly a sight to behold. While the RTX Series may look, feel and fit like stock gauge cluster, the similarities end there. With many shared technologies from our HDX Series, the RTX family brings you RGB lighting, Bluetooth integration, GPS precision technology and so much more! Our standard Lifetime Warranty covers the RTX Series, completely engineered and built in our Sioux Falls, South Dakota, headquarters.
In a nutshell, the RTX Series borrows the technology and features from our popular HDX Series, but wrapped up in a OE-looking package. Like our other direct-fit systems, these are designed for specific vehicles as a fully engineered solution, making for a simple upgrade which looks right at home. Several unique tricks are incorporated into each package, giving the instrument systems a very different look when turned off, as compared to on! These can often be seen as hidden gauge markings which disappear when not backlit, LED-bar graph gauge readings and a simulated rolling odometer which appears when the vehicle door is opened!
Limited pre-production units are in stock now, with standard production units making their way to the shelves in August and September.
Like our other product lines, this is only the first group of vehicle applications included. Additional vehicle-specific applications will continue to step through the development process, being released individually.
