Installed a used hydroboost unit on my project. Finally was able to fire up the motor to test everything. The brake pedal went right to the floor and I was unable to even manually pull it back. My first thought was I have the hoses hooked up backwards. But I looked through a bunch of different pics and am pretty sure I have them right. I've bled the system a ton.

Do I have a bad booster?

Routing pic attached. (pressure from pump to accumulator side of booster, pressure out of the booster to the ps pump. Returns to reservoir.

Sorry you haven't gotten any feedback yet.
I am no hydraboost expert but can offer this..,

1. You did not mention is your hose routing whether you ran a return line from the booster to the p/s reservoir. Yes, in addition to your description, you need a return line from the booster directly to your reservoir. Please avoid "teeing" this line into your other return. Go directly to your reservoir if at all possible.
2. Go to Hydratec braking website, if you have not already, where they offer really nice instructions.
3. What socket are you referring to?

The "assist low pressure return" line is what I am referring to in item 2 above.
Lots of good info under technical tab at Hydratechbraking.com.
