Hi guy's, I am looking for advice for a 2004 GTO LS-1. Is there a mass air flow sensor that is more compact available than the factory original. I am trying to design a clever way to feed my throttle body but the factory MAF is so big and clunky I thought I would ask the question, what are my options. Engine is factory stock. Please advise if you have something worth mentioning. Thank you.

You could eliminate the MAF and run a speed density tune.

Don is right. A LOT of guys go speed density.
I certainly wouldn’t recommend going smaller here. It would create a {greater} restriction, than what the current MAF already does.

Why not switch to the cartridge style LS7 maf.
Will require a change to the harness and reprogram.

Several companies make an adapter harness jumper or you can put in a new connector to switch to a new 5 pin MAF. Combines MAF and AIT.
