Looking for someone who may have experience with putting an LSA in a Detroit Speed Subframe- second gen Camaro. I'm thinking I may have a clearance issue with the crank pulley hitting the frame where the sway bar lives. I was told by DSE that the sub frame was not designed with the LSA in mind. Any input would be appreciated.

Do a search here for the project Lou's Change built by V8TV. It's a 69 Camaro with DSE and LSA motor.

crank pulley doesnt hit. If you want low mount ac you will have to notch the passenger subframe. Buy the lsa and get a front runner kit and your done.

I dropped in on that thread (awesome build!), I just wondered how the first gen build would compare to the second gen?? I know both DSE frames use first gen rails...at least that's what I was told..... Thanks for the input!

Wegner has a very nice accessory drive for the LSA.
