Has anyone used one of the "Hooker Headers 71223008"
http://www.jegs.com/i/Hooker-Headers/520/71223008/10002/-1
I have a TKO600 and was looking for something "easy" to cover the hole. I have previously covered it with a fiberglass patch I made.
I cant seem to find a picture of this thing covering a T-56 or measurements of it.
I have the floors out of my 68 Torino and was going to make something and this looked like a "solution".
You can "sort of see" the missing floor :-)
Thanks, Joe

76TA is using one but he doesn't have the transmission in place I don't think.
I'm placing an order for one soon but am not sure if I'll use it or not. I want to get my hands on it and see what it looks like.
Might consider checking out Nastyz28.com or pro-touring.com. I'm sure someone has used it and can say for sure.
I wonder is Steilow used in on Gunner since he worked with Holley on that build?
Good luck, Joe.

Thanks Trey,
I thought about ordering one from Amazon since I have prime and they are only 60$ shipped. It would be easy to modify as well.

Trey, did you end up getting one?
Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, Joe. Yes, and I sent it back too. It wouldn't work for me. I have to remove most of my tunnel up towards the firewall to get the trans to fit correctly. I think this is due to me having half height body bushings.
Overall, it looked like a nice piece. I know others have used it and liked it. Given how easy returns to Summit are, I'd give it a shot to see if it's something you can use.
