200 mph Camaro video. He runs a Twin Turbo LS1 with a 6 speed. This was a 1 mile run from a dead stop. He had it set to 800 rwhp for this run. I thought it was kinda cool.
That would sure be a rush! Someday!

Man, that's a pretty scary looking place to run 200mph!
What did they use to verify his speed?

Hot rod magazine must have set up some type of verified radar clocking system. Like a quarte mile only farther out!

The car in the video is his LT1 car referenced in his signature:
"96SS- 359ci, Twin GT61's, Air Conditioning, 6-Speed -890rwhp 855rwtq- -9.77 @149.4- -3750lbs- -Standing mile 199.4mph"
The LS1 car that ran 10s is a new twin turbo project car.
Both very bad ass cars.

That is here in Maxton, NC at an abandoned airstrip. They open it every year for land speed records.
That was pretty nuts! Gotta be one tough guy not to let up on that gas.
