View Full Version : 200 MPH in a standing mile!!

200 mph Camaro video. He runs a Twin Turbo LS1 with a 6 speed. This was a 1 mile run from a dead stop. He had it set to 800 rwhp for this run. I thought it was kinda cool.

That would sure be a rush! Someday!

What did they use to verify his speed?

Hot rod magazine must have set up some type of verified radar clocking system. Like a quarte mile only farther out!

he just went 10's last weekend on goodyear gsc 315 tires.

The car in the video is his LT1 car referenced in his signature:

"96SS- 359ci, Twin GT61's, Air Conditioning, 6-Speed -890rwhp 855rwtq- -9.77 @149.4- -3750lbs- -Standing mile 199.4mph"

The LS1 car that ran 10s is a new twin turbo project car.

Both very bad ass cars.

That is here in Maxton, NC at an abandoned airstrip. They open it every year for land speed records.
