I am putting the finishing touches on the 2nd gen and need something modern to install for a wiper motor. I want something to keep in line with the modern upgrades to the rest of the car.

What are you guys using for a wiper motor? DSE always seems to be out of the auto park motors on their site. Not sure what else to use.

Haven't used it yet but I have a Newport setup. Looks and feels solid. Fit great.

I installed Raingear a couple years ago any haven't had any issues. The new owner of the company was very helpful on a install question and even sent some extra parts 2-day air at no cost.

Do these do autopark to get the wipers below the hood when off? That seems to be the biggest issue when trying to find a replacement for a late 70s f-body.

My car is still going together. On install, they are below the hood line.

used the raingear twice and love the products. That's the way to go.

I have a second gen as well , I got tired of waiting and waiting for DSE so I went with the raingear system that mounts and hides inside the cowl, I'm glad I did it's awesome

Just another vote for Raingear. Great product and painless installation. The nicest benefit is that it cleans up the firewall.
