I’m thinking about upgrading my disc brakes on my 69 Camaro, what are the tallest brakes I can go with my 15” Rally wheels?

Not a lot of guys running 15” wheels on this site. You might want to try camaros.net

You can't stuff much of anything brake wise in a 15" wheel.... so I'd suggest you upgrade your wheels first. Then you can find a couple brake upgrade kits that will fit.

I love all the "you can't" BS going on here. NASCAR tech has done wonders for what can fit inside of a 15" wheel--check eBay or Racing Junk for what might be available. I know you can at least fit 11" Wilwood kits and maybe 12", so long as your wheels will clear the calipers; check with Wilwood tech or even CPP for bolt-on stuff. As for 17" wheels, 12" rotors are easy, and (later C4) Corvettes came with 13" rotors in the front (on 9.5" width) . . .

That would be going about things all assbackwards...... he's already said he's going to upgrade to 17" wheels -- so why bother to go with brakes that will fit in his 15" --- when there are so many more options for the 17".....

Hope you’re not referring to me because I said no such thing. I merely suggested he might get more feedback on another forum....
That being said OP should probably research 17” and 18” tire options before committing to 17’s....

OP ---- buy this discounted Wilwood brake set up now ---- upgrade your wheels when you can -- and slap these on at that same time.
