1962 Chevy II currently has 17x7 with 215/45/17 up front. I am getting new tires and I want to put a little bigger tire up front.
What would be the better pick, 225/45/17 or 235/40/17?
Thanks,
Kent

What is the rear tires. The 225/45 is slightly wider (10mm) and taller (9mm). The 235 is wider still but shorter than your existing tire by 5.5mm. All small differences so I'd see if you can fit the wider of the two options up front, and which has the better selection of tires available.

Ours has a 225/50/16 on the front with the same TCI IFS sub.
Your car sounds rad judging by the sig.
