Item Location (City/State):Livermore, Ca

NEW PRICE $65,000

Description:

Car was assembled by Mike Maier of Livermore, CA and Motor and Transmission by Elliot of Mustang Corral in Grass Valley. Both shops know the car very well and would be able to speak to the build.

I've scanned a stack of receipts and I'm waiting on the receipt from Wine Country motorsports for the seats, and Ron for the Race Pack and Budnick for the wheels otherwise I have all receipts. I'm well over 120K, closer to 130k into the car.

I recently spent 30k in the Motor / Trans and new shock towers.

Buy today and be running with NorCal Shelby

The car is built to run Cam-T SCCA (200 TW tire, full interior) 3200lb weight.

Engine & Trans

Having track time and experience with the owner and car...... This car is very well cared for by a passionate and meticulous owner. Sadly, having a young family there are times that one's priorities must over rule passion.

If you're interested in an early Mustang track car take a serious look as this one.

Quick update:

Car was on a racepak dyno this past Saturday

Numbers:
424 TQ RW
410 HP RW

Builder says car should make around 440 RW with this combo but with a different muffler setup. I know it sounds like a stretch but I'm running the biggest muffler Billy Boat makes to make sound for laguna. Think RV muffler.

I'll be picking up the car this Friday from Grass Valley and will have it available for showing after.

race locker with 42lb spring setup

looking to move the car this winter. I've put some light driving miles around town and the motor feels great and the trans is nice and tight after the rebuild.

Beautiful car, we go nicely with my GT350. Too bad you’re 2000 miles away.

I wouldn't let 2000 miles stop me from buy a car honestly.. There are few fastbacks built like this nationwide.

You either get super high end "ring brothers" 200-300k or you get a stocker 289 C code for 32k.

You're talking roughly $1000-1500 in transport cost.

Car will be at Goodguys this weekend in Pleasanton.

After the last track day the trans was feeling a bit weird going into third. I just had it pulled out and gear number three failed.

I ended up putting in new bearing / syncros / 1 / 3 gear and a new main shaft.
