Anybody seen these images of the new mid-engine Vette floating around the net. Not showing much other than a silhouette and using you imagination for the outline. Sorry, if the pics don't come out good. I'm at work and can't use an image hosting site, so I had to save them to my work computer then post. I know we've talked about it before, but hadn't seen these pics. An article stated it was seen driving around town in Michigan and spotted at a McDonald's in the drive thru (the first 2 pics).

It'll fly off of dealers lot's and be gone like a poot in the wind.

Looks very Ferrariesque

I think it looks long because the cabin looks more forward. It looks like they had another one wrapped up in the parking lot picture, along with some C7s.
I can't wait to see one of these.

Looks like it is going to be a c7 and c8 built at the same time kinda affair from what I've read and then once the vette is rolling out just c8s there's a chance that there will be a Cadillac going on the same platform to help drive down costs.
Regardless it's going to be sexy and one hell of a spanker ( Ferrari, Porsche,Lamborghini all going to get your a**es tanned)

the camo is hiding a lot. the front camo actually has a false front on it and the back wont look as long when uncovered. They hit a home run with c7. expect the same for c8 and it wont be cheap either. low production

no way in hell they flat ditch the time tested iconic front engine corvette in the foreseeable future. That said...I've watched this thing transpire since the blurry pictures of GM testing the clamped together mid-engine holden ute surfaced, and it's exciting. I'll definitely be interested to see how many they build, what they cost, what drivetrain options will be, etc..

In the mean time GM...can we not please just release this damn c7 ZR1 already So guys like us can get their hands on the blower from the aftermarket:thankyou:
