I was supposed to be there, :buttkick:

best place for pics is IG. too hard to load up and down load here, everything moves pretty fast on one of these (there's 10lbs of greatness into a 5lb box). You start at 7;30 ish and sometimes dont get to the hotel 9/10. Its pure awesome.

Hopefully thing 1 or thing 2 will do a road report, but dont hold your breath lol.

try #ggroadtour #gghof2017 or #gghofroadtour2017, but they are at @goodguysrodandcustom (pretty sure thats how you spell it)

It is one of the best things to do in a car. Period. (besides racing and procreating, well procreating mostly lol)

I can have the Danville Dukes plaque fixed..... maybe (more like I'll have it digitally scanned - 3D modeled - and a new one hand cast from the mold...)

It's only just an "antique".... and belonged to Gary Meadors....

I'm on my THIRD car of the tour..... started with the '68 Vette that won Good-Guys 2015 Street Machine of the Year.... broke it in the Snap-On parking lot.... So had to switch to the Good-Guys (Gary's) '32 Ford Sedan.... "Rudy" was helping me back up #@$&**+@#... This afternoon I'm driving the Good-Guys Mustang Give-a-Way car.... LOL

In the morning (Thurday - day #6) I'm back in the '32 -- and get to see the '40 Ford Pickup at Custom Hot Rods of Andice and make some decisions on some details. Maybe -- doubtful -- I can keep Ed and Charley out of it this time.

That's a billet aluminum block and pan -- that flatty is putting out about 300 HP and costs nearly $50K.....

I had looked at them (H & H Flatheads) when building the '33.....

Ed sent me a picture of it (the '32) lined up as he was getting ready to drive it around the Texas Motor Speedway!! EEEEEEHHHHHAAAAAA

When we got near Austin Texas --- Rudy and I swapped in to the Good-Guys Give-away Mustang to go up to have dinner in the restaurant my daughter Adrienne, is a Sous Chef at (ATX Cocina). It was getting dark and it was raining when we were to depart the Vintage Air tour - and taking the Mustang sure made the hour drive north easier in heavy traffic!!! We stayed the night there (Austin) and surprised her by showing up. Then this pic (of the Mustang with Rudy and I in it) is the next morning as we all met up at CHRA for a tour of their shop (they're building my '40 Ford Pickup).
