Can you believe that this mean bird is clad in all-original sheet metal? John’s 1970 Pontiac Firebird was built specifically for pro-touring track events, including the Optima Batteries Search for the Ultimate Street Car. It’s powered by a 627HP 414ci Johnny Thomas small block mated to a Legend Gear and Transmission LGT700 5-speed gearbox and rides on SpeedTech’s full Track Time suspension, RideTech triple-adjustable coilovers, Wilwood disc brakes, 315/30ZR18 BFGoodrich Rival S tires, and 18x11 Forgeline GA3R wheels finished in Matte Black! Cool! I had no idea he was based out of GA. Maybe I'll get to see the car one day.

John's a super cool dude, he's even rocks out in a band part-time. One of the coolest things about this car is it's all bolt on parts using a factory subframe and he whoops it up on some serious competition. That's a true testament to the capabilities of a well sorted out combination of parts, good fine tuning, and a great driver mod. Keep up the butt whippin' John!
