This has been done several times. The links I had book marked had the pictures stored in photobucket and have been blocked. Most people are refusing to pay their $400.00 membership fee to recover the pics. Search 5th gen and ZL1.

2010-2015 has been done a few times, I for one am doing it(and tried my best to re-update my thread on pro-touring.com after PB's shafting), but I have never seen 2016+, I am very curious to find out if the dash frame and trans tunnel remain the same. but as far as your question goes, yes its possible, the 2016 has almost identical overall dimensions, physically it fits, wiring the dash to work, especially the gauges, is a different battle.

You guys are the best, I almost purchased a entire 2013 Camaro ss with 32000 miles just for the interior for 9500.00, I wonder what I could sell the complete motor and 6 speed for.

I'd probably buy the engine and trans if manual... just saying, go halves?

read the LS1 thread above, I believe he got them to work.

However I didn't even want to try, deleted them.

Did you use the heater and controls for the newer car? Thanks

Nope, I'm also in the process of deleting all of those controls and will incorporate a vintage air system
