Hello,

Hope everyone is doing well. My name is Chris and I am looking to buy a 67, 68 or a 69 Pro-touring Camaro. Would like to buy one right away (just sold my hot rod so the garage is empty and I do not like that) so please email me back @ [email protected] if you have 1 or sale or know of 1 for sale.

Thanks,
Chris

It may help if gave us a price range, your location and any other details, such as are you looking for a manual or automatic, carbed or EFI, etc....

Rocketrod,

Good point. Sorry bout that. I am located northern Ca. but I am willing to consider cars from other states. I would prefer a manual tranny - a 5 or 6 speed. Not so concerend about EFI vs. carbutration.

As for price, I want a car that is very nice (and I have owned 5 1st gen. Camaros to this point so I know what they can cost for a nice one) and I have the means to purchase a nice car.

Hope this helps,
Chris

Chris,

I think you can find a very nice car for $70K. Just be patient and the right deal will come along.

Just sold my car, but I am currently building two at this time! And if you can wait a few months you can design one of these how you want to!!!! CAll me 229-221-4690

Here is the build sheet as of now for the car I could have ready the soonest

550 RWHP LS2
T56 tranny
18x8 front and 20x12 ID Luxury ID307 (Intro wheel brand)
All new sheetmetal
DSE Quadralink 4 link
DSE front coilovers with the upper and lower arms and there full steering setup
Electric windows and locks
6 point cage
And lots of other goodies that could be up to you. Price range for the car as it is going will be somewhere in the $70K range and up depending on the options

It's sometimes hard to do, especially when you have the cash burning a hole in your pocket. But everytime I get in a hurry I regret the decision.

What town are you in?

Be very patient and you may be able to snag a car worth a bit more than 70k for that price.

Chris, they are giving you great advice. Be patient, for 70 you will find a nice car. Not many cars worthy of 70 K, so sit tight and it will appear.

My advice would be "its easy to buy but hard to sell".

Camcojb and Stuart,

Thanks again for the advice guys. Damm hard to be patient when there is this big hole in my garage but I know it will be worth it.

Just remember you dont have to spend all 70k on one car....

And there may just be a black and white '68 with a modded ls1/t56 vette irs c6z06 brakes c6 wheels and a buttload of other stuff up for sale soon... and just over in Mountain View!

For $70k you could build a bad ass pt maro as long as you can weld. I figure my project will cost me $50k in parts. Good luck to you. You should have no problem holding out and finding something real good though.
