Hi Has anyone got pictures of their ECU mounted replacing the glove box or anywhere under the dash for a first gen Camaro?
Thanks in advanced.

I used to mount them above the glove box, even with vintage air. I am not sure if I have a pic though. I'll have to look. I now go thru the trans tunnel just inside the firewall on pass side. The newer, smaller ecms fit well on top of the trans tunnel between the evaporator and the firewall. I do have pics of that on a first gen f body.

We just started looking for a good place to put it and I know a lot of guys put it above the glove box or right where the GB door is. Both seem pretty good spots.

I made a glove box and mounted my Holley dominator on top of it. And the fuse panel inside it.

That's the way I'm leaning towards mounting my ECU and panel. The 67 has a taller glove box door than a 69 so my ECU will be covered at the top but once its in it will be good. Thanks!

Jeff (JWCARGUY) mounted his where the firewall meets the trans tunnel and it's covered by his 5th gen console. Very easy to get to if need be. Might be worth a PM to get a few more details on that and how he setup his console with the gauges.

Thanks Curtis, I can add that to asking if he posted the build of his gauge pod. Thanks for suggesting it.

It would help if you said which pcm that you have?
I am running a Gen III "411" pcm, which is the largest of them
Using a GM mounting bracket, slightly modified and have the pcm mounted horizontally on top of trans tunnel @ firewall ( GM#15995679 mount)
it sits just under the custom 4 gauge pod that is in my console
The engine harness relay bank and fuse panel are mounted to firewall ( laid out/ mocked up with Vintage Air unit & hoses prior & welded mounting studs prior to firewall finishing), just above accelerator pedal for ease of servicing/ access
the OBD II port is just under dash, adjacent to steering column
Using the glove box insert from Vintage Air kit
I will do the same on Curtis's car when it comes to my shop in next day or two
Hope this helps
