I have a NOS 1969 Camaro cowl induction hood and was wondering does anyone if they have any part numbers on them or is there any type of stamping or markings that's different from aftermarket.

I don't think the NOS stuff was marked I have read the tell tale signs are the rear corners near the hood hinges the angle is pretty unique and look like this. after market is a much cleaner line. Also where the hood adjusters hit should have 3 dots that for a triangle.

they're suppose to have a letter # stamp on this corner but its been said that oem that were sold through dealerships did not have stamps on them. just the ones that came with car when new

Wasn't there a yellow sticker / tag on most replacement NOS as well?
Jeff I have two OE hoods both from the early 70's ones a Cross Ram hood and the other is a standard cowl. Just looked and no markings on either.

Thanks guys,I am pretty sure that I have one now according to some of the markings. The one I have has been painted and the previous owner told me that he bought the hood several years ago from Chevy dealership and hauled it for years till he finally rebuilt his car.
