I am from Bowling Green KY and Doing research as I am getting ready to start my Falcon project I came across this great site.
Getting my game plan together before I start the tear down. Current plan is a 3.5 Ecoboost create engine mated to a T5 or T56. I am at the measuring figuring stage. The engine measured at the Turbos is 28" wide and the drivers side turbo sets a few inches further to the rear which could tight fit. Looking for an engine that took a hit in the front that I can buy cheap for mock up.
I see a lot of great builds here to get my imagination going.

Will do, I have the car which is in pretty good shape, runs and drives with 200 I6. Some one has installed a 8" axle from a later Mustang.
Still have a bunch of planning before I pull the car apart. My biggest concern is the engine is 27.9" wide at the turbos and alternator. I will be removing the shock towers then add some tubing to the chassis and across the engine bay to stiffen the front end back up. I am looking pretty hard at the TCI IFS and rack set up. I would like the Detroit Speed front end but for a driver I can't justify the $$, looking at a few other options.
Anyway before I order the engine I want to make sure it will fit between the frame rails with out too much grief.
I could also install a LS or 302 but I really want something different.
And I have to figure out how to post photos with a URL.

Love it!

I have a friend who is supposedly doing an ecoboost wagon but it'll probably be years before that is up and running...

My son has a picked up a 2016 3.5 Ecoboost for me with 11,000 miles complete for a great price. He also has a T56 he is willing to part with so the trans will be coming this way too.
So now that I have the engine and trans I bit the bullet and ordered TCI IFS kit and 4 link rear.
Really excited to get going on this build.

Me too
First step will be to get your front cross member installed to start playing with engine placement, engine mounts, bellhousing/firewall clearance and steering shaft to the rack. I will update you guys with what I end up with.

Well damn, it was bound to be done since I only had the idea but never pulled that trigger so good on ya! 3.5 EB in a Falcon is a perfect match. I'll be following the build for sure.

What’s happening with this one? I’ve got a 63.5 that I’m tinkering with, so I need some motivation.
