Skip, that's bucket list material for me. Shoot....I can't even get a day away from work these days. My mom and dad however have made the 66 trip a few times, but it was in a Volkswagen Beetle in 1968-69.

Loved this video for many reasons.

My favorite car are 2nd gen Trans Ams & the 70's was my youth era.

I got to travel the real Route 66 back in the day many times. My Dad & I drove it when they were putting in sections of Interstate 40 to "go around" the towns.

The only things missing from the video were an old "Whiting Bros" gas station & an "Indian Trading Post." LOL

The license plate frame was from Reliable Pontiac in Roseville, CA. That's where I bought my 1977 Black & Gold Smokey & The Bandit TA with 400/4-Speed. LOVED that car.
