Gerald’s gorgeous pro-touring ’68 Camaro is another example of excellent work from GAP Racing. It’s powered by an old school small block mated to a Richmond 5-speed transmission and rides on Speedtech suspension, Viking Performance coilovers, Moser 12-bolt rear end, Detroit Speed mini tubs, Baer brakes, 235/40R18 & 315/30R18 Falken Azenis tires, and 18x8/18x11 Forgeline GA3 wheels finished with Gloss Graphite centers, Gloss Black inners, & Polished/Cleared outers! Is having the outers polished and clear coated still an option for your wheels?

Is having the outers polished and clear coated still an option for your wheels?

Yes, on a three piece wheel, a polished outer is standard. Any powder coat on the outer is an additional $75 charge, whether this is a clear coat or a color.

So if you don't specify that you want a powder coat on the outer, then we will give you a polished outer. If you want a clear coat on that, then be sure to tell us, and we will charge an extra $75 per wheel.

FYI, the clear powder coat definitely makes it easier to clean/maintain, BUT is also will dull the brightness of the polished outer. So there is a tradeoff, in addition to the extra cost. If you want the polished outer to "pop" as much as possible, then the clear might not be the best option...
