I have a Detroit Locker in my 35 spline Ford 9" setup 3.25 gears for the Chevelle.

I've been made aware I can put lighter springs in the Detroit Locker; however am leaning towards a WaveTrac LSD.

What are people running out there? I know my options are a little limited with the 35 spline axles.

This will be a 75% street/25% track car. Some AutoX as well... mainly road racing. The WaveTrac lifetime warranty is appealing... and I run one in my LS9 turbo RX-7 with solid 8.8" which is around 1400hp.... but that is only 2900lbs (without driver). No issues in a couple thousand very hard miles on it.

What LSD unit is Mark Stielow running in his creations?

We have had good luck with the Strange S Trac in 35 spline. The helix angle on the gears is higher so the bias ratio is higher than a wavetrac.

I didn't have good luck with the wavetrac, it didn't even make it through 2 events.

Mark has used C&R Racing for rear gear. The TrueTrac unit they offer is about 3K which included REM and dyno break in.

$3K is a little more than I want to spend on this sucker! Will keep it in mind.
