Hey all-

Since the engine came unglued a little over a year ago, while Pumkinator (http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=32402&highlight=Pumkinator)'s been down for a complete drivetrain, interior and exterior overhaul I've been daily driving my '77 2500 Suburban. 9 mpg is starting to get old and I've been thinking about picking up a small daily commuter car for a while now. I finally found one I'll be picking up this weekend. But, in true hot rod addiction it's probably not what most folks (including my wife) would consider a temporary daily driver. ;)

I found this local '78 Monza wagon without a drive train and just had to have it. I've already got a simple plan mapped out including a good MPG mild V8/T5 swap and the G machine look/ capability without getting too hard core like Pumkinator. In the end I will drive it daily and when I take Pumkinator and my son takes Coppertop (http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=45155&highlight=Pumkinator) racing, my anxiously awaiting 16 yr old daughter will now be able to join in the fun with this one.

Meet "Lil' Monzter", a rendering and more pics coming soon...
