DEALERS WELCOME

This is a hot new product! Shift lights aren't new, many racers have been using them for decades. Most shift lights come on at some RPM you set to shift at. WHEN ARE YOU ACTUALLY SHIFTING? The light comes on and it takes time to shift, and by then you may be out of the powerband or hitting the rev limiter. Either way, you've lost lap time or ET on the dragstrip.

The Trac-Pac(TM) Performance Optimizer gives you 4 levels of progressive or sequential lighting with 8 multi-color LED's. More LED's light up as RPM increases, and they also change color (green/yellow/red). Multiple modes enable you to either light up sequentially, useful in road racing for at-a-glance RPM indication which helps you be consistent through the corners - or multi-stage so you can have a level for launch, another for nitrous activation, and finally the last for shifting.

The Performance Optimizer connects to your smartphone wirelessly, and using the companion app you set up all the modes and shift levels.
RPM data also is streamed back to your smart phone where it can be watched real-time and logged for later review!
This is a powerful feature that will help you evaluate driving and measure the impact of changes you make.

You can see what RPM you're actually shifting at and then set the lights to come on to account for your reaction time

You can spot wheel spin, clutch chatter, top end fuel/ignition problems

When you view a log, it automatically finds your shift points, calculates several useful stats, and shows a table of the stats for each gear (shift RPM, time spent shifting, average engine acceleration in gear, etc).

Export the data in CSV format for offline analysis

Mount anywhere within your peripheral vision, doesn't need to be near your tach (shown here on a steering column, on top of the dash would work even better)

Log RPM during your run, and then view it later to see if changes you made helped and find problems like wheel spin and top-end fuel or ignition issues.

The app also tries to determine when you shift, and then summarizes several statistics for each gear. When are you ACTUALLY shifting? How long is it taking to shift? Below is a sample log, this is what it looks like when you view a saved log. Notice the wheelspin at about 3 seconds?
