Hey guys,
We are knee deep in another awesome build. I figured it was time to start a build thread on a 1969 Chevelle we are building. The list of mods will be extensive, but here are the highlights....
Complete C6 corvette running gear, Ls2/6 speed
Mirror image twin turbo chargers
Complete C6 suspension front and rear
In house built frame
Corvette dash and gauges
ABS
Shaved drip rails
Flush glass
5" ride height to rockers
Custom bumpers front and rear
Custom roll pan in rear
Front splitter
Im excited about this build and look forward to the excellent input from the great members of this forum. I'll give you a few pics of where we started....

This is cool Wanted to to that with my Monte. Maybe someday.
Is the Chevelle wide enough that it all fit, or the custom frame compensating for it? The Vette is wider than the Monte.

Thanks, the Chevelle was just wide enough. I'll have to run the Corvette wheel spacing so no dish in the back but I think it looks pretty good with them. I can't wait to get some nice wheels on it

Looks real good. How much will you have to lengthen the torque tube?

They are growing on me, I might look at some polished factory wheels

Do you think you will be able to have a usable back seat?
EBmotorsports

There will not be room for a bench seat but we are going to mold buckets into the back. I doubt there will be much legroom though.

You can see the transmission takes up a lot of the room for a seat

I like it. Do you plan it out in cad first or simply put pen to paper so to speak?

That frame looks heavy, any idea its weight to stock frame?

You started with a 1969 Chevelle VIN, roof and driver's door plus a C6 Corvette complete driveline. Hmmm.... I like what you're thinking. :)

Bare frame? Meaning the frame alone weighs that? Wow that is heavy.
