I have a clients truck at the shop that has had a custom turbo set up on it but the shop that did it really did some nasty layout on the pipes and we have some serious heat issues.

What kind of pipe wrap will help with this for the turbo pipes as well as some harness's and stuff, it seems to also have cooked the alternator so we need to try and shield that as well.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer to your question, but I wanted to pay you a compliment. So many shop owners would never admit to not knowing the answer to something, and would simply use whatever product they knew about, even if it was 10 year old technology, or wouldn’t fit their client’s needs. You on the other hand will risk the response of some idiot bashing you for not knowing, and ask the question. Kudos to you my friend! I swear if your shop were close to me, I would have to work for you. Not many seem to have the integrity to admit when they don’t know. Good luck on your search for the heat-wrap… I’m curious about it too!

try researching a company called Heatshield Products, they have a variety of high temp products for exhaust, turbos, wiring, plumbing.
