Hey so i finally got some time to start getting my LS3 out of the crate and on the engine stand. couple of questions.

1. The lift plate left the back of the engine open so i just taped it up is that alright?

2. i removed the valley cover and gasket that is correct right i should not leave the gasket with the lift plate.

3. should i use any never sieze putting that valley cover bolts back in?

4. does anyone know the torque setting for the valley cover bolts?

1. It's fine, just keep area clean.
2. No need for gasket, just don't over tighten bolts and burr up your block
3. Always a good idea, but use moderation. A dab will do.
4. 22 ft. Lbs.

Take the applicator out of the anti seize and turn it upside down. Touch the end corner of the bolt on the brush and thats amount all you need.
