Thinking about purchasing an at home car lift. I was wondering if any one has used the MaxJax lift? Any pros or cons to this system?
Thanks

I went with a Bendpak asymmetrical about two years back. Cost was about $2500 shipped. I love it! Should have bought it long, long ago! You won't regret it no matter what brand you go with. Worth every penny.

If you have the height try to get one you can stand under. The MaxJax is too low. You will have to work on your knees or sitting in a chair.

I have a maxjax and like it. Bite the bullet upfront and buy better hoses and fittings than the chinese crap they send with it. Also go ahead and do the epoxy anchors instead of the hammer in. I had a couple that refused to bite and had to end up using the epoxy anchors anyway.
I agree that if you have the headroom for a full size lift to go that route but if you are limited by a regular garage or slightly higher you will be happy with the MaxJax.
Costco puts them on sale pretty regularly and their price is hard to beat.
