Hey, quick question. When installing the ridetech gas cap and filler neck do you need to drill all 8 new holes or are you supposed to use any of the 4 already in the panel. Also any one know what size bit you used to drill these holes? last dumb question does the gasket go on the cap side or on the filler neck side?

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul. My recollection is you have to drill 8 new holes. Gasket should go on cap side.

so I was messing with this last night, what is my best approach I assume center the cap in the panel and then mark and drill the holes? then adjust the filler neck on the back side to line up with the cap holes.
thanks again

You've got the right idea, Paul! I assume you've got it done though, it's been a while since you updated this.

make sure you install the gas cap cover so you have it positioned exactly how you want it. Heres mine.

Also, make sure you use anti seize for the bolts.
