I have one I build that allows the valley cover to stay on and also works with a 4150 and 4500 manifold

I use the adjustable one from Mac's...the adjustable feature alone is worth the cost in my opinion.

Thats the same one I have, it's made for the LS it mounts to the exhaust bolts so no need to remove the intake. Expensive but the tilt adjusts really easy.

I'be used it in that manner and also by removing the tilt mechanism from the tube frame and attaching it directly to the valley cover on top of the engine.

The type that bolt onto the valley cover are better, because you can pull or drop an entire engine without removing the hood. I used the one from Quick Time Performance, and it balanced nicely with the front belt accessories and clutch/flywheel installed. Got it from Summit.

Nine Ball, I used the one I have because I didn't want to remove the supercharger. I would have been much happier to use one like you did if the intake was coming off.

so I got the valley cover plate since i am not doing a ton of swaps but it did not come with any hardware. can i just re use the bolts from the intake when i take it off? are they strong enough to hold the engine?
thanks
