Any thoughts on this intake?

Is it worth changing out my aluminum RPM Air Gap copy for this?
I think a plus is no more silicones etc and the plastic for air charge temps

There's still some silicone between the upper "spider" portion and the baseplate. Or am I misunderstanding what you mean by silicones? But the thermal properties are a plus.

If I were building another small block for the street, I'd go with this unit. I especially like the fact that you can pull the intake runners, without pulling the dizzy, or messing with the coolant. The weight loss and thermal properties are a bonus.

I have the Titan TXR version (not installed yet). I'm moving away from the Victor Jr. (which has served me well). I think the change will be worth it just from what have been reading.

I have one of these intakes on a 406, not running yet. It does still use silicone on the china walls.
