Yea so when i bought it it was in ugly bad primer, and alot of bodywork still needs to be done.. Boilermaker is going to shoot her when he is cleared up space at his shop which might be a while.. so i decided to paint the car myself.. i like the rat rod look so i went with a satin black because i feel like the strait flat black is very dry looking.. this looks abit wetter.
so heres the pics!

Man that's cool. I'd like to see a plain white top and then get crazy with the interior.
Kinda like this:

I say white top. Looks more like a classic greaser car that way. And this is a car that may be well deserving of some 20" wheels. Lemme look at some wheels and I'll give you a good idea.

Seems to work better on the Volkswagon. Maybe due to the difference in overall size. Maybe due to the fact that the little bug has gloss paint. I'm feelin the white top--especially if you go with a crazy interior. White will draw attention to the interior without overpowering it. I prefer 60's full size cars (I like to call em couches) to mid seventies platforms as an affordable alternative to traditional 60's muscle. I like what you are doing. And the wall mural is awesome, by the way.

I say black or maybe even beige. If you do the white top.. You HAVE to do all white interior... My dad has a 63 Bonneville two door hard top w/ the original 389. We haven't done anything with it yet, but it will definately be ol' school. I can't say Rat Rod, because I really don't think it applies to this kind of car.

I say white top, interior the way it is, black 20s maybe maybe not with a chrome lip.
