I lost the RFID key to my car. It has an Advanced Keys setup. I have a feeling my 20 month old son got to it and threw it away. Now what?!?! I cant even start the thing without that key card.
How hard is it to convert back to a normal keyed ignition? I absolutely hate this Advanced Keys thing.

I'd contact Advanced Keys, and ask for advice. Did the setup only come with one, and not an extra for the wifey etc?

The shop that built the car lost one and gave me the other. I lost mine now. There is a code on the original box but the builder doesn't have it nor did they give it to me.

You order it or the builder? Should be able to call and have them look up the order.
I think this car is possessed !!!:confused59:

Just talked to their tech guy. The system was registered under me in 2012!!! WooHoo! They are sending me a new box and 2 new keys. We also discussed why it takes 10 seconds to restart the car and found out it was wired wrong.
My faith has been restored in this system! Just need to find someone who can wire it correctly.

Good deal! I almost got that kit and went with digital guard dawg. Both seem like very capable systems. Glad you found some root cause to some issues and solved the missing key!

Yes. Loosen the 3 bolts and drop it down. You might have to loosen the firewall clamp on the steering column as well
