Homelink.... Like Onstar? Where did you get it? Can you use the service? Will Jessica ever forgive Burt? Find out the answers to these questions and more... :D
Sweet car too!
Shiny Side Up!

Home link means it has a remote that you can program to take the place of a garage door opener or gate opener. You can even program it to turn on and off your security system in your home. They usually take the place of three remotes. Totally diferent then on star. Hey Tom, Fuddrucker's in what city? I might be able to make it out there.

Thanks, they're Corbeau Legacys. They actually do loook pretty close to the color scheme I'm after, but I plan on having them re-covered with leather - black with sliver inserts. They grey that they have now is too dark to go with the silver on the dash.

Thanks Tom. Ill show up as well. You might want to check out Stitchcraft in LA for the seats. One custom interior shop in Riverside said he wouldnt do my cobra daytona's because of all the pieces of fabric that would need to be cut. I think he is just lazy and don't want to do biz with him. Stitchcraft and I have been e-mailing each other for the last couple of days about the interior of my car. They Will gladly do my front Cobras and make the rear seats match and if I want them to, put the Cobra logo on the rears as well. They do alot of the cars that make it to Sema. I checked them out after seeing them on Overhaulin.

I think they were the ones I called after seeing them on Overhaulin about building my back seat. At the time I didn't have the frames, and to completely build new rear seats they wanted over $2,000.... I have some stock frames now and will have the interior place cover those and re-cover the fronts too.

Tom I noticed in your car new description you are going to run a jl 10w7. Have you already installed it? I just got a single 12W6. If you have installed it do you have any pics of the trunk. I won't copy you I am just looking for some cool ideas on how to mount the amps and single sub. I am trying to figure out how to make it look good without apholstering the trunk because I do not want the added weight. Thanks

I am just now getting to this part of it - trying to figure out how I'm going to mount everything... Hopefully I will be done in a couple weeks. Currently I'm thinking of mounting the amps on the floor covered with plexiglass.

Thanks Roger... worked more on the interior today. Added another (hopefully final!) layer of Dynamat inside to keep the heat out... I will follow up with their extremeliner under the carpet too. I think I have that Dynamat black tar all over myself... Keep... sticking ... to .... floor...
Now to concentrate on the trunk...

I was doing the same thing today except I was dynamating the doors. I can't wait to be done with that stuff. Are you going to dynamat your trunk? Your car looks great!! As long as I can get my customers taken care of in time I should get to see it tomorrow at Frudruckers!! My Brother is planning on going with me for the drive. We are not taking the Nova though. Its in the middle of getting the Stereo stuff done and that is way to far in this recent heat to go without air.

How do you like your seats. Do they give you enough head room? Are they confortable? I am looking at the same ones in black.

I like the seats - they are very form fitting and keep you from moving. They are comfortable too. I'm only 5'8", so no complaints with headroom... Pant size 34" waist, and there's not a lot of room to spare... They do offer a wide version if necessary, FWIW

Thanks for the info. I am 5'11'' with a 34 waist so it sounds like the width would be fine. I had 4th gen seats and it was tight on the head room. I am glad to hear they sit low.
