Does anyone have a detailed pic of what a correctly rolled/trimmed rear quarter panel should look like for a 68 camaro?

All you need is about a finger width between your outer fender and tire. It sounds like you rear end is to wide or you need to remove a spacer between the axle flange and wheel. How much room do you have on the inside between your tire and wheel tub? You need more space on that side to avoid a rub over transitions.

Does anyone have a detailed pic of what a correctly rolled/trimmed rear quarter panel should look like for a 68 camaro? I got my car back and within 10 miles it caught the lip on the quarter panel and bent it. I was driving 20 mph on a straight and smooth residential street. Im very pissed about this!

I would be worried about the rear end being loose somehow. How the 1/4 lip is trimmed and rolled should not matter if you have proper clearance and the suspension is correctly installed. Show us how much clearance you have.

I agree, take it to a capable shop that can set it up properly. And look the rest of the car over carefully.

yea so my heart dropped seeing that pic. The tire doesn't look too bad. You could also put the tire on the other rim since most likely its a directional tire. rim offset looks wrong like you mentioned.

Now to find out what is cheaper, Floater rear end so you can shorten the rear end some more, See if you have enough on the hat of the rim to shave down ( doubt it ) rebarrell the rims.
