I have a 1969 Camaro that I have pulled the 12 bolt out in order to narrow. The car is getting a Quadralink installed and originality is not a concern for me.

So, the axle tube code is BT 0603G1 with a "E" under it. I searched online and it stated that this is from a 1969 Camaro w/ a 3:55 posi build June 3 on first shift.

I put a 3:73 Richmond gear in it and never had a problem.

I rather have a narrowed Fab9 built instead of cutting up a factory '69 rearend.

I have seen these listed from $1500 to $2500 on ebay.

Whats this worth? $1,000?? Im in the Nashville Tn area.

alot depends on condition
is the housing and tubes rusted/ pitted?
brakes complete and drums good condition?
original spring perches in tact?
3 or 4 series carrier? (3 is more common)
no issues with axles, hubs, wheel studs?
original C-clips or eliminators?
How long ago did you have the 3.73 gears installed?, was it totally gonme through and rebuilt? or just gears ?

Need more info & pics for value

Also, the "BT" code was used for 68' production too
You may want to look at the casting date code in top LH corner next to rear cover , see if it is a 68' or 69' rear axle

The "E" just means Eaton brand posi unit

IMHO, if it is a complete, clean, stock condition (just gear change, but 3.73 is very popular) I would say $1,800-2,000

Hope this helps, Jeff

I bought an unmolested BS coded 3.31 posi rear last year for 1300.00 and I am very happy with it for the money I'd think 13-1500 in good used condition. IMO sell yours and find a big caprice 12 bolt and build/narrow that and your $$$ ahead
