Okay, here's the deal on the Marquez group purchase. We need 5 or more people to participate. We currently have the 69 taillights, side markers, and billet front turn signals or driving lights available. We will offer 15% off on a package of all three (tails, side markers, and front parking or driving lights) or a 10% discount on individual items.

We will do this again as the 67/8 taillights and new items are completed. For now it's the 1969 products only as that's all we have ready for sale at the moment.

Normal pricing is $253.95 for the tails including free shipping, $79.95 for the side markers with free shipping, and $189.95 for the front lights plus shipping. For the group purchase the set would be $445. shipping included for a savings of $78.85. On single items the taillights would be $228.55 shipped, side markers will be $71.95 shipped, and front billet parking or driving lights will be $170.95 plus shipping.

To purchase using Paypal send payments to:

[email protected]

Please put "group purchase" in the instructions section and include your shipping address. Cannot pay using "buy it now" because the site is set to normal pricing. No need to wait on 5 people coming in at once, we have enough interest to just open it up now for those interested. If you are ordering driving/parking lights separately e-mail me with your zip code so I can figure shipping. Shipping is included with the complete package and other items.

Darren,

You can use a credit card through Paypal, I believe without even having an account. If not, Pascual will be acepting credit cards soon, he's signing up now I believe.

So are the front driving lights now coming with the turn signal stuff integrated ??

I know you guys were working on trying to get them to function like the stock lights or having a LED etc....

Also..... the first design required some trimming of the original mounting panal and I know you guys were working on that too....

I'm very interested, but wanted an update on the specifics of the designs you guys have worked out.

The front lights we have now require minor trimming of the front valance. It is something that can be done on a painted car and does not show once installed.

We start with a driving light so if a guy wants them to remain as a driving light we can leave them alone. The led blinkers on the light for a turn signal cannot be seen with the driving light on, so either you'd need additional relays and wiring to shut the lights off when the blinker was used or remotely mount the blinkers. For now as a driving light you are on your own for the blinker. What we've done is remove the driving light bulb from the light and replace it with a clear led bulb which is amber when lit. It looks very clean and like a fog/driving light, but functions exactly as the factory light with a parking light and turn signals. From feedback we've received this has been what most people wanted.

Okay I was alittle confused but have I got this right ??

Option #1
Driving light .... a white light, just like a "mini" headlight, with a small LED blinker. When the driving light is on, you cant see the LED turn signal, so at night, the turn signal is not functioning. During the day when the driving light is off, the LED turn signal can be seen

Option #2
Parking light... similar to factory. A low output amber light, that will blink when used as a turn signal. The appearence of the light is identical to option #1 until you turn the light on

Is that correct ???

These are driving lights only, no led turn signal. It could be added into the bulb, we had already mocked them up but stopped when we realized they weren't visible with the lights on.

Correct, other than they are high output LED's
Is that correct ???

Could you just explain that some more...I am sorry I feel like we are belting you with questions. Just something that can be done in the driveway, or a little more skill involved?

Thanks

Here's a link to Jannes Z28's website where he shows how he did it. It's two simple cuts and two holes drilled. Very easy.

The bulb used is a direct replacement for the 1157A stock bulb used, so it has a low setting (parking lights) and high (blinkers). The nice thing is it is clear when un-lit so you cannot see it, it looks like a driving light.

How does the light problem effect the group purchase of the marker/turn signal lights. I would still like to get in on the group purch.

Thanks!

Well, we've sold all the turn signal/driving lights. We've found a couple others that should work and keep the pricing the same, but will require new brackets to be designed. We're going to keep the GP open until we have the lights back in.

Jody,

Thanks for the input. I will wait to hear from you regarding the new bulbs. But I am very interested in the rest. I guess I can order the markers considering shipping was covered and you can let me know when the markers are done and I will take care of those at that time.

The group purchase will be extended at least until the new bulbs arrive. The manufacturere has decided to make us a bunch more which is good news. He has the VISA machine and is currently being setup with a company for service.

The latest is we were told they shipped Thursday from San Francisco, but they never showed. We called back and now are told they couldn't have shipped as they have not arrived to the distribution place yet. Still another week or two out according to them.

VERY frustrating dealing with companies like this  , but all the brackets, etc. are set up for this particular bulb.

Darren, we are STILL waiting on the bulbs. Very frustrating that the set we happened to pick and make all the bracketry for is the one type we can't find. Supposedly they are going to be here in.................. 1-2 weeks. Don't hold your breath though, I'm not.

We found another company with the same bulbs (or so we thought). Turns out the drawing on their website is incorrect. They will work, we have 50 sets in stock, but now have to draw up a new bracket to adapt them to the billet housings. That is being done this weekend and hopefully next week we'll have everything needed to start selling them again.

Darren,

Have the new bulbs, tons of housings. We had to make a new bracket which has been designed but requires a 90 degree bend and it keeps cracking when the shop bends it (aluminum). They're now re-doing them in steel, but that means we have to have them powdercoated.

Getting very close!

Well, the 67/8 tails are finalized and in the hands of a certain members son for machining. When he has done a set so we have pricing it will be posted up here. Also, the brackets are being done now also (finally) for the front billet park lights, so hopefully we'll have them real soon.

Because of your patience we will be offering a discount on everything once these two items are ready for sale.

I'm not trying to keep secrets but I hate posting that such and such will be done in a week or whatever. And then get disappointed when it isn't.

I can say the front 69 lights are done, just have to pick them up locally so by Friday we will be shipping them again. For the rest of August we will be offering 10% off on the front lights as a thanks for your patience.

And the 67/8 taillight is also supposed to be machined by today. Now this is just one set to get firm pricing on the machining, but we have 50 sets on order immediately assuming the pricing will work. They require a LOT more machining than the 69's. I will post pics and pricing as soon as I have them.

Hi Jody, is it possible to driving/fog lights to the front turn signal lights? Maybe using some "projector" lights or something, which look about the right size, you know, use the housing & fit the lamps to it, or are they machined as one piece? I'm gonna run with RS hideaways, but without all of the mechanism to open them ie fixed closed & thought this might be a way of getting extra light at the front on those dark old nights. Turn signals would be fitted elsewhere, thanks :)

The bulbs we use start life as fog/driving lights. So with a different rear bracket they would work fine, the billet surround is set up for the bulb. We initially wanted to keep them as driving lights with some amber led's built in for the turn signals, but you couldn't see the turn signals with the driving lights on. Only issue would be getting Pascual to make the bracket, he's a very busy guy!

thanks for that Jody, I could probably fabricate the brackets myself if he's too busy, would there be any means of adjusting the beam on the light for height , direction etc?

The brackets we had could be adjusted for height. You could shim them for direction. We have those old brackets, but the bulb used for them is no longer available. So we found a new light to fit the housing and since 99% of the people want them as park/turn signals we never made a new bracket to use them as a driving light. We remove the driving light bulb and replace it with a clear (amber when lit) bulb for park/turn signals. This bulb is much smaller which is why the current bracket doesn't clear the unaltered driving light.

If they were set up for adjustment, will the outer surround still fit the gravel pan apperture ok ie does the surround stay still & the housing move (I hope that makes sense)

what would the cost be for a pair of front lights & for a pair of RS style rears.I'm in no rush for them so if it takes Pasquel a while to make the proper bracketry to take the brighter bulbs, then no problem. Carriage would have to be to Great Britain. Probably about the same as to Jannes in Sweden

The billet piece doesn't move; the bracket pivots aiming the driving light itself. I'd have to check on the freight, would need a complete address. You can pm or e-mail if you like.

The front lights are $199 shipped, but not to the UK! We will be offering a discount on them very shortly to $179.95 shipped, but we'll have to get you your freight. By the RS style rears, do you mean the taillights? They are normally $253.95 shipped for the set, but will be $230 shipped. If you bought the side markers at the same time there is a 15% discount on all pieces instead of 10% discount quoted above.
