I have my 68 on the rotisserie and found some rust in front of floor pan on right side of car. Is this double wall or was it patched from the inside at some point. It has a form of thermal insulation on the inside and it is a bitch to remove so I was hoping someone new on Lat-G ?

I know on a 69 that area isn't double walled. Looks like it has been repaired and not very well. You will see that on older cars, lots of butchers out there.

The patch panels for that area fit pretty decent for what I needed.

I guess you can cover up a lot of crappy work with bondo and undercoating!!

Sherman panels are made in the USA but in my experience the fit of the offshore parts is better. You can find both versions of toe panel patches on eBay. The USA panels do not have the black EDP coating, they are bare steel.

Not double walled but to replace your going have to remove the firewall body/mount box. Camaro Central has all the pieces. toe boards and body mount box if your need a new one. How is the other side if is suspect it may be easier to replace the firewall. There is alot of spot welds to drill out.

Other side is good, had the firewall, trunk and back half of car media blasted and the only other issue I have is the trunk pan.
