Hey all,

Here's my predicament at the moment.

I have a lexan rear-window, thick and decent quality. However, there are a few "speed holes" in it and I want to make some small housings that would keep it open, but not allow rain to get in.

Anyone know where I can get a sheet or small pieces of lexan and what sort of bonding agent to use?

Thanks, ~Eric

Try Tap Plasctics, they've helped me on a couple projects and pretty much know everything related to what you're doing.

Is this what you're looking to do?

Home Depot. They have many sizes and thicknesses. In the screen door section.

Yep, very similar. I have a couple different shapes though :(

You want to make certian that you buy a polycarbonate such a Lexan and not a clear acrylic or crystal styrene. I would go to Mcmaster-carr for raw material like this.

Yep. I make hockey visors from the poly from HD. 3/32" thickness. It's tough to bend. :confused59:
