So my brother is looking to have a 57 Chevy built, he wants it to be is daily driver. So it will need a full restoration.

Anyone have any suggestions?

In addition to Ironworks I have heard or seen good things from:

http://www.bentcustomandperformance.com/
http://www.jcgrestorationandcustoms.com/

This shop I drive by everyday on my way to work and they always seem up to something:

Thanks for the recommendation.

You really have to consider what you want the car to be when complete. Every single shop listed above does this in a completely different spectrum then the others. A restoration is totally different then a pro-touring car build.

Some shops build nice drivers, some shops build more performance race cars, some cars build more old school stuff, some shops build pretty crazy stuff and some shops are a fab only shops.

Then it comes into how big of hurry are you in and how nice do you want it?
Most good shops are gonna have some kind of waiting list.

Thanks guys but I'm in the North and have swayed from full on Shoe Box restorations. Rodger and the crew @ Ironworks is the place dezl!

haha, I don't think the timing is an issue. He wants the car done right. He wants a daily driver, nothing crazy motor wise (assuming LS based). Something that handles well but I don't think he is going to want to go as extreme as mine.

I will find out more info and send you a PM if its up your alley.

And thanks for all the info guys, much appreciated.
