Again I am at a point where I need to buy a part that I didn't want to buy yet.....seats! Just got done with the rear section of the roll cage and if I don't get some seats mocked up in the car I could have some problems down the road.

I am not sure whats out there other then the usual Sparco and Corbeau. I know that I need a real solid seat but need to have some comfort. They also need to be racing style to accept the harness system.

Colors.............I am so not ready for this.......still don't know what color the car will be!

Help!!!

Well, Jody and I found a Sparco seat that we really liked at SEMA, but of course, the seat was $3,000! And that's just for one.

It had a carbon fiber back and bucket, with leather. By far the most comfortable seat I've sat in. But not gonna spend $6K for two seats! They should come out with the same seat without being carbon fiber at about 1/2 that and I'd likely buy them, they were that nice.

Sorry guys, but for 3k it'd have to be a lazy-boy with all the options!

I think this is what I'm gonna use: (http://www.cerullo.com/sport_xr.html)

High quality seats at reasonable prices.

Yup. That's the one. CF shell. I loved it. My wife loved it. She's not gonna be happy when she hears the price. Damn!

I guess I need to rob a bank or something.

I made a deal with a guy last night on some seats that may work great. He has a brand new set of Ricaro Sport Sportline seats.

These are the seats!

http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomframe.jsp?query=speedware+motorsports&page=1&offset=0&result_url=redir%3Fsrc%3Dwebsearch%26requestId%3D1 709d05005f8ff5d%26clickedItemRank%3D1%26userQuery% 3Dspeedware%2Bmotorsports%26clickedItemURN%3Dhttp% 253A%252F%252Fwww.speedwaremotorsports.com%252F%26 invocationType%3D-%26fromPage%3DnsBrowserRoll%26amp%3BampTest%3D1&remove_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.speedwaremotorsports.c om%2F

Once in that site go to seats, Ricaro and find the Sportlines! I couldn't get the link to work!

He is giving me the seats and some cash for the Viper T56 I am selling. The deal is going down tomorrow as he is driving 3 hours to come get the tranny. At least I'll see the seats before committing!

I love these seats. Cobra Misuno's I saw them at Sema the leather ones were 1300 i think but the link is for fabric. The have carbon fiber backs and recline. The side brackets are availble polished or black and the feel great even for a bigger guy. Any one else used them or heard good or bad about them?

Very Nice seats indeed. Any problem that can be cured with money isn't really a problem at all. (Quote from a rich guy)

Howard you might want to check out Cobra Seats. They are extremely solid seats. The sliders and recline lock on both sides. Everyone that rides in my car coments on how comfortable they are. I really did not expect them to be as comfortable as they are. I have the daytona's but they make alot of different ones. I got mine from sube sports in CA www.Subesports.com
