For sale one very rought 1971 Corvette.

I got caught up in the barn find of this car. I purchased it from the widow of the orginal owner. Looked good in the dark barn and the story was good.

I think it is a one owner car.

The frame is SHOT. Rusted bad

The "Birdcage" is rusy

The doors are rusty.

I'm not a Corvette guy but this car is rough.

It has been sitting for over 20 years. It was in a garge but I think the early exposure to Michigan winter hit this car hard.

It is mostly there and it is a number matching car with 29K showing on the ODO. It looks like a one repaint and it has had a front clip put on it a long time ago.

My wife has nicknamed it crusty and it needs to find a new home.

If someone had the time I think you could part it out and do well selling parts to Corvette guys. Or if you want a big project this could be brought back to life.

I put a some cash on the hood and sold it. By far the worst car I have ever purchased from a rust pont of view.....

:waveflag: I broke one of my number one car rules... always start with the best car you can afford. On the bright side I meet a lot of cool Vett people in Michigan. They all told me my car was a piece of crap. But nice people.
