I'm looking for seats to replace my flat as a board and way too old OEM seats in my '69. I'm considering seats from a Fiero, a 4th gen Firebird or Camaro or possibly some form of aftermarket seat. Fiero seats will fit fine I understand, but they are too hard to find locally (Houston area). I've seen at least one example of Hyundai Tiburon seats used here and they really look great and appear to have good lateral support/bolsters. Regardless of what I get I'll need to get them reupholstered to match my dark blue interior. How easy are the Tiburon seats to mount and how high to they sit? I'm only 5'11'', but I've read about too many problems with high replacement seats and I've pretty much given up on the TMI seats due the the height problems others report with them, even wth the so-called "new foams". Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

I tried for weeks to try and figure a way to mount the Tiburon seats into my 68 Camaro with no luck. I tried to modify the seat frame as much as I could but couldn't find a way to make them fit into the narrow confines of the Camaro seat pan. Great seats, I wish that I could have made them work. If you figure it our, please post pictures.

I had some in my 69 for 3 or 4 years before going to 4th gen trans am seats. Had to make new slider brackets for them. Was a pain Now they are in my 90 mustang notch. Great seats
