I arrived at my house about 4:00 pm on friday, I had the first beer at 4:02. sat in a lawn chair by myself for an hour and just looked at it. Silly, I know, but at least I was not sitting on a bucket inside making car noises.

Great news! You should be done in no time now. What a cool feeling to have the kids around while your finishing the car.

Story of my life.
A busted head gasket has turned into a 2 year frame-off....
enjoy your car bud, definately lookin' sharp!

Payton, you NEED to sit on a bucket and make car noises, it's part of the experience! If you don't have a bucket, substituting with one of the seats will work, but that really detracts from the event in my opinion.
Kids look stoked, that is a great picture!!! Car's looking good, that yellow really pops in the sun, looks great. Now get it done and drive her!!!!!
Congrat's!

That's awesome Payton. Good yellow, really pops. Can't wait for the finished product. Background picture in garage is cool too!!
Looks awesome! I bet it was more than worth the wait though.
Have no fear...sit in the car and make noises. Push it on a hill and jump in...just hope it has brakes!

I was out yesterday so I am sorry for the slow response. I have almost sold the car a few times from frustration with the project. I am very happy to have it back at the house. There are still a few things I have not decided. Trying to get a dual master set up to work, no idea of what I want to do with the interior/dash. All the rest of the parts are bought and waiting to be bolted on. A dude is coming to my house today to set the front and back glass, this weekend I will try to run by fuel lines and my e-brake cables. I do not think it will take me long to finsh but I thought was going to to the motor swap it was going to be down for 4 month. LOL
Stuart, I thought that you would like the poster in the garage. I have one of Rick's convertible and the Mule on the other wall. Got to have motivation
